∑-VIROCULT® Virus Transport Medium

∑-VIROCULT® is a transport system designed for the collection and transport of viral specimens for downstream analysis using culture or molecular testing methods.

The system combines VIROCULT® liquid transport medium with the ∑-Swab™, an open-celled polyurethane foam swab designed to support efficient sample uptake and release. Specimens can be transported at ambient or refrigerated temperatures, providing flexibility across clinical and laboratory workflows.

∑-VIROCULT® is supplied ready to use and supports multiple aliquoting or repeat testing where required.

Swab & Medium Design

The ∑-Swab™ features a soft polyurethane foam bud with a large surface area and open-cell matrix. This design supports efficient absorption and release of specimens and is available in standard and mini tip configurations.

The VIROCULT® medium is supplied in liquid format to support ease of laboratory processing.
